Introduction

We are seeking a highly personable, analytical, and detail oriented individual to join our corporate management team as Vice President of Marketing. The individual must come from a sales, communications, marketing, or business development background and will not only provide direct support to all teams at Tailor On Tap but will have the opportunity to join a young and fast growing company.

The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing/overseeing marketing strategies across all company revenue streams and will actively engage in the development of new strategies.


What does the Vice President of Marketing do?

Strategy and Brand

  • Entrench Tailor On Tap’s potential as a fast growing brand with the potential to become a national leading made-to-order apparel brand by achieving true and meaningful differentiation.

  • Lead acquisition and retention efforts with strategic resources to assist in the critical thinking.

  • Responsible for key stakeholder management and represent marketing in a long term plan with cross-functional implementation

  • Deliver against core KPIs

Paid Digital & Offline Media

  • Responsible for the performance and success of paid digital media channels including search, social, affiliate, display, and video.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive and accretive offline media plans including but not limited to Podcast, Radio, TV, OOH, Direct mail etc.

  • Oversee and manage attribution model, including iterations, logic and data inputs.

  • Measure and analyze marketing channel performance to scale spend and optimize media mix.

CRM – Customer Activation, Post Sales Support & Retention

  • Convert leads into customers via path to conversion email marketing

  • Develop e-mail marketing playbook to be executed at the corporate and at the store level

  • Responsible for customer segmentation and scoring

  • Activate past customers, repeat purchases and driving lifetime value (LTV)

Business Insights & Intelligence

  • Collect, track, analyze, report, and communicate data related to the performance of indochino.com, e-commerce path to conversion, CRM and email marketing platforms

  • Apply quantitative analysis, statistical modeling expertise in mining massive amounts of data and extract actionable insights.

  • Generate analysis and prepare quarterly and ad-hoc reports and deck for Board of Directors in collaboration with Chief Revenue Officer.

Channel Planning (Analytics and optimization of the marketing mix)

  • Conduct research that allows us to mine deep into the vision of Tailor On Tap personas and extract key insights that guide us in building a strategic media plan that connects with our audience at any stage of their journey to discovering, considering, and purchasing Tailor On Tap

  • Develop and own the planning for digital (paid search and digital), offline media buys, and email marketing

  • Develop Marketing/Channel plans at the national, market and store level.


What does it take to be the Vice President of Marketing?

  • 8-10 years relevant experience as a marketing leader ideally from an online / ecommerce environment with a minimum of 5 years leadership experience in online/ecommerce or retail

  • Strong understanding of brand and direct marketing

  • Degree in marketing, business or a related field

  • Strategic and innovative, leading to a disruptive focal point for the brand

  • Acquisition focused, ability to be cost effective on spending to maximize ROI

  • Demonstrated success using marketing analytics, customer feedback, customer value, behavior, segmentation and targeting techniques and tools

  • Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives

  • Exceptionally strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to clearly identify strategic issues and make tough decisions

  • Ability to inspire, engage, and motivate teams to achieve results and success

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, lead multiple projects, prioritize, and manage a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions

  • Previous experience working in B2C environments

  • Previous experience in eCommerce or Apparel Industry a definite asset

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic - must be comfortable with ambiguity and rapid rates of change
